Ingredients

  • 7 Golden delicious apples (about 3 lb), peeled, cored and chopped, about 10 Cups
  • 2 Can Sliced peaches (15-16 oz ea.) drained, sliced, in extra light syrup, cut in thirds
  • 2 Jars whole onions (15 oz ea.), drained
  • 1.5 Cup Brown sugar; packed
  • 1 Cup Cider vinegar
  • 1 Cup Raisins
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 Sliced 1/2 inch thick
  • 0.0208 Cup Canned apples; (recommend White House brand)

How to make Apple-Peach Chutney

1.Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large pot. Boil gently, uncovered, about 1 hour stirring occasionally, until thickened. 2. Cool slightly (mixture will continue to thicken as it cools). Pour into jars, cook, cover and refrigerate. Makes 7 cups. Age for 3 days. Refrigerate up to 2 months.
