Ingredients
- 7 Golden delicious apples (about 3 lb), peeled, cored and chopped, about 10 Cups
- 2 Can Sliced peaches (15-16 oz ea.) drained, sliced, in extra light syrup, cut in thirds
- 2 Jars whole onions (15 oz ea.), drained
- 1.5 Cup Brown sugar; packed
- 1 Cup Cider vinegar
- 1 Cup Raisins
- 1 Teaspoon Ground cumin
- 1 Sliced 1/2 inch thick
- 0.0208 Cup Canned apples; (recommend White House brand)
How to make Apple-Peach Chutney
1.Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large pot. Boil gently, uncovered,
about 1 hour stirring occasionally, until thickened.
2. Cool slightly (mixture will continue to thicken as it cools). Pour into
jars, cook, cover and refrigerate.
Makes 7 cups. Age for 3 days. Refrigerate up to 2 months.
